OSU may have never looked better in the first half of a bowl game. Art Schlichter threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns as Ohio State rolled to a 19-10 halftime lead. But the offense never returned to the field and the Nittany Lions dominated the final two periods.

Curt Warner ran for 155 yards and a score as Penn State racked up a whopping 351 yards on the ground.

Schlichter completed 20-of-35 passes for 302 yards, but never really got untracked after intermission.
