Jan. 2, 1995 - Citrus Bowl
Alabama 24, Ohio State 17

Coming off the first victory over Michigan in the John Cooper Era, OSU brought a rare dose of momentum to Orlando.

Still, the Buckeyes were largely outplayed for much of the game, but stayed close with a blocked punt, a blocked field goal and 12 tackles for loss. OSU’s offensive production was based on a pair of Bob Hoying second-quarter TD passes to Joey Galloway (69 and 11 yards). Ohio State grabbed a 17-14 lead early in the fourth quarter on Josh Jackson’s 34-yard field goal.

But the Crimson Tide came back to tie the game and won it on Jay Barker’s 50-yard scoring pass to running back Sherman Williams with just 42 seconds remaining.
